Description We are looking for a diligent Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana, United States. This role is instrumental in handling the company's expenses, ensuring all accounts are paid in an accurate and timely manner. The position is part of the finance department and is responsible for maintaining and updating financial records, processing payments, and keeping track of expenses.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the processing of all invoices for the company, ensuring accuracy in billing and coding

• Manage the data entry of financial information and keep all records up-to-date

• Conduct regular check runs to ensure all payments are made on time

• Maintain the reconciliation of all accounts to ensure financial information is accurate

• Handle any inquiries related to accounts payable and resolve them promptly

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to track and analyze financial data

• Ensure all financial transactions comply with company policies and procedures

• Work closely with other members of the finance team to improve and streamline processes

• Keep track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.

• Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records

• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) to manage financial obligations

• Familiarity with Check Runs to process payments efficiently

• Ability to perform Coding Invoices for accurate expense categorization

• Strong Data Entry skills to input financial information into databases accurately and quickly

• Experience in Invoice Processing to manage and fulfill payment obligations

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel to organize, calculate and manage data effectively
