About The Role:

Carrier has an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Analyst temp to contribute significantly to our financial stability and growth. This will include solving complex financial problems, and ensuring accuracy in financial records in a dynamic environment. This role offers potential to gain exposure to various aspects of financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for developing analysis and projections and conducting small projects

Additional A/P responsibilities include: ensuring process for payments by receiving, classifying, and obtaining proper approval for each invoice in order to accomplish 3-way-match before disbursement

Prepare settlement of accounts payables by EFT, Wire or check payment methods.

Correspond with vendors providing payment information on open/past due invoices by email or phone and resolve any discrepancy.

Prepare AP accruals for month-end closing.

Prepare and post Journal entries to maintain general ledger accounts.

Reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma

3+ years of experience in Accounting or Accounts Payable

3+ years of demonstrated experience in MS Excel for managing and analyzing data

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in manufacturing environment is a plus

SAP and Ariba Experience

Strong administrative, organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
