Description Robert Half is seeking a permanent Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to become a vital part of the rapidly growing team at a respectable company in the Financial Services industry. As the Accounts Payable Clerk, your duties will include matching, batching, and coding invoices, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, and processing checks. You will have an opportunity for career growth and advancement within this dynamic department. The Accounts Payable Clerk role will be situated in the Austin, Texas area and is a permanent employment.

　　Responsibilities

　　Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling

　　Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed

　　Help with internal and external audits as required

　　Produce full-cycle A/P

　　Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department

　　Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

　　Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners

　　Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis

　　Execute additional tasks as needed Requirements - AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

　　Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases

　　3+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred

　　Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

　　Account reconciliation experience required

　　Strong organization skills with a sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks

　　Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
