　　Accounting/Financial Services Specialist

　　The selected candidate will be assigned to the Finance Staff Group at the Eastover Mill. Job responsibilities will include interacting with mill operations personnel and vendors on a day-to-day basis. These assignments can include, but are not limited to, month end duties, payroll, reconciling inventories, performing audits/cycle counts, managing internal controls, raw material receiving and the resolution of GR/IR issues. Candidate must be a Team Player; flexibility is essential in this role.

　　Primary Responsibilities

　　Active participation in mill safety initiatives.

　　Month end duties include calculation and verification of specialty chemical costs, furnish chemicals, cores & plugs, miscellaneous journal vouchers, and the generation of month end reports.

　　Serves as a primary contact for the resolution of GR/IR issues for both the Sumter and Eastover facilities.

　　Position serves as a backup to both the raw material receiving and payroll functions.

　　Monitor and resolve issues related to the Inventory Accounting email box.

　　May require a minimal amount of travel for Inventory Accounting physical counts – approximately 10%.

　　Other duties, as assigned. Position is dynamic and duties can change with business needs and requests.

　　Must be able to work on some holidays when Payroll and/or Month end falls on those dates.

　　Minimum Requirements

　　Education – associate degree in finance, economics, accounting or related field, or four years of relevant work experience.

　　One plus year of relevant experience in accounting/payroll processing.

　　Excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to work effectively with others.

　　Expert using spreadsheet programs (Microsoft Excel) and other databases

　　Proficient in use of e-mail

　　Knowledge and skills of SAP operating system a plus

　　Education – bachelor degree in finance, economics, or accounting.
