Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager in the Stanislaus County. This role plays a crucial part in our operations, overseeing a broad range of accounting functions to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Reach out to Edgar Gonzalez if Interested 209.395.2259

Responsibilities:

• Execute general accounting operations to support the production of precise and timely financial reports

• Supervise the accounts payable process, including the processing of invoices and the adherence to payment terms

• Manage the accounts receivable function, including invoicing, cash application, and reporting to optimize cash flow and maintain customer account integrity

• Oversee the tracking, capitalization, and depreciation of fixed assets, ensuring accurate recording of asset additions, disposals, and maintenance of fixed asset schedules

• Maintain financial reports and records to back up general ledger accounts

• Prepare monthly close journal entries as assigned

• Complete Balance Sheet reconciliations and ensure proper documentation support exists for all account balances

• Provide audit documentation and meet all audit deadlines

• Drive continuous incremental improvement of processes and controls

• Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)

• Provide assistance to outside auditors and gather necessary documentation

• Help drive departmental projects to completion

• Provide ad hoc reporting as required.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Knowledge and experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Ability to perform Accounting Functions effectively

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficiency in Auditing procedures

• Experience with Billing Functions

• Understanding and application of GAAP Accounting principles
