We're looking for dynamic Accounting Manager candidates with a knack for establishing and regulating an organization's accounting and finance procedures. This is a position where employees feel appreciated in their day-to-day work and are rewarded for their efforts. Taking charge of daily operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties will be essential for this Accounting Manager role with a burgeoning, innovative company. How you will make an impact
Lead and supervise the accounting team performance during the closing process to ensure close deadlines are met
Assist in preparing GAAP financial statements, which includes data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes
Possess a working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Assist in the implementation of NetSuite Financials, including system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration
Prepare various technical accounting analyses, policies, and procedures
Review and analyze balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant
Collaborate with FP& A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics, including monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook
Requirements - CPA/MBA preferred
Solid technical skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
5+ years of recent relevant financial experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset
Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
Comprehensive knowledge of month end closings
Demonstrated knowledge of cash management
Adeptness in Public Accounting Audit
Microsoft Excel experience
Strong familiarity with Business process improvement
Financial reporting experience
Experience with CPA
