Available for an immediate hire, Robert Half is searching for a skilled, eager, and strong candidate to fill the role of an Accounting Manager for an expanding, influential company. In this position, you will be responsible for leading daily operations, including maintaining the general ledger system, preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. An integral part of this position is establishing and scaling company accounting and finance operations. What you get to do every single day
Command sufficient knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Review and analyze balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant
Play a key role in the implementation of NetSuite Financials, which includes system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration
Work alongside FP& A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook
Prepare a variety of technical accounting analyses, policies, and procedures
Contribute to the preparation of GAAP financial statements through data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes
Lead and supervise the accounting team performance during the closing process to ensure close deadlines are met
Requirements - Active problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
5+ years of recent relevant financial experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset
Well-founded grasp of bank reconciliations
Accounts Receivable (AR) experience
General familiarity with financial statement preparation
Accounts Payable (AP) experience
Knowledge of Annual Financial Reporting
Proven knowledge of bank reconciliations
Cash management experience
Solid understanding of Corporate Accounting
Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
Demonstrated technology and analytical abilities
