　　At Piedmont Airlines, our strength is in the way we deliver industry leading service to our customers and airline partners. To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable individual to join our Finance team as a part-time Intern in our Accounting Department. The Accounting Intern will perform general accounting duties, such as assisting with monthly close processes, fixed asset records, and account reconciliations. The successful candidate will be a current undergraduate student or recent graduate and no previous work experience is required. This intern will report to the Director of Accounting.

　　Essential Duties:

　　Perform general accounting duties as needed

　　Assist with monthly close process

　　Assist with Sarbanes Oxley Documentation and Testing

　　Assist with maintaining fixed asset records

　　Assist with account reconciliations

　　Ad hoc reporting

　　Research and analysis as needed

　　Job Qualifications and Competencies:

　　Strong analytical skills

　　Highly organized and detail-oriented

　　Higher education degree candidate or recent graduate in accounting or another related field

　　Work Environment:

　　Standard office environment, use of computers and other office equipment

　　Ability to work flexible schedule, if needed

　　Non-Exempt

　　Physical Requirements:
