Job Title: Part-Time Data Entry Specialist (Accounting Background) – Temporary Contract

Location: Bensalem, PA

Job Type: Part-Time, Temporary Contract (On-Site)

Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday | 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM (with a 30-minute lunch break)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant w/ a Data Entry focus to assist with a data migration project utilizing Spectrum, our new accounting software. This is a temporary contract role requiring a strong understanding of debits, credits, and general bookkeeping principles. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or bookkeeping and be comfortable working with financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately transfer financial data into Spectrum software.

• Verify and reconcile entries to ensure accuracy.

• Apply accounting principles to maintain the integrity of financial records.

• Identify and report discrepancies or inconsistencies in data.

• Collaborate with the accounting team to streamline the data migration process.

• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, or accounts receivable.

• Familiarity with debits and credits and general accounting principles.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software (experience with Spectrum is a plus).

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a structured environment.

• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
