Description Robert Half is looking for an Accounting Assistant to join a dynamic company. As the Accounting Assistant you will provide daily support to the finance and accounting departments with bookkeeping and accounting tasks. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for reconciling bank records, drafting financial documents, invoicing customers, and collecting payments. If you have a high level of attention to accuracy and detail, then this is the Accounting Assistant opportunity for you!

Responsibilities

Perform day-to-day accounting duties including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and payroll, payroll tax filings, booking journal entries, reconciling credit card and bank account

Reconcile financial books by working with incoming and outgoing funds

Collaborate with the Accounting team by creating and editing financial documents

Communicate with clients via phone and email as necessary

Support administrative duties as necessary

Analyze financial budgets and track expenses

Design the bookkeeping processes of the company Requirements - High attention to detail as well as problem-solving and critical thinking skills are a must

2+ years of experience working in accounting

Intermediate knowledge of spreadsheet applications

Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills

Bookkeeping experience desired

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field of study preferred
