Description We are on the lookout for an entry-level Accountant to be a part of our dynamic team. Based in Norcross, Georgia, this role involves a range of accounting tasks including maintaining customer records, processing customer applications, and handling customer inquiries. You will also be tasked with monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary action.

Responsibilities:

• Handle and accurately record incoming funds, demonstrating a clear understanding of account number structures and the accounts receivable module.

• Take responsibility for the processing of credit card payments, cash and check deposits, and the preparation and execution of bank deposits.

• Steer the preparation of in-house invoicing for payable items that require billing to other internal departments or locations, ensuring the correct preparation of supporting documentation.

• Manage receipting for banking transactions, batch preparation, and the input of receipt information into the accounting system.

• Lead the resolution of reconciling transactions that require further research and correction, coordinating with other accounting and finance personnel.

• Assign account codes to payable invoices on a daily basis, making sure the supporting documentation corresponds with the invoices.

• Oversee the processing and reconciliation of assigned exchange account and other balance sheet accounts that require research and reconciliation.

• Record data in the accounting system, generate, prepare, and print reports necessary for backup in preparing payables batches.

• Prepare and process ACH and check payables batches.

• Undertake a range of administrative tasks associated with special projects, compile information for various reports, spreadsheets, and special projects, and inform relevant personnel of findings. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is required.

• Must be familiar with Accounting Software Systems.

• Experience with Adobe Acrobat is desirable.

• Knowledge of Dynamics NAV is a plus.

• Should have experience with ERP Solutions.

• Must have the ability to perform Account Analysis.

• Expected to be able to handle Accounting Entries.

• Proficiency in executing Accounting Functions is required.

• Must have skills in Account Reconciliation.

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary.
