  Position: Account Manager – France

  Previous experience: Successful track record of selling complex, medium to high value Enterprise software and SaaS into one or more of the following industries: manufacturing, life science, process industries, MMM.

  Location: Home Office (France), preferably Paris area

  Employment type : Full-time regular

  The job

  As an Account Manager, you'll be responsible for acquiring new logo, generating growth opportunities and delivering new business sales targets to the business.

  Working alongside and orchestrating our experts who will deliver in-depth solutions/product and industry knowledge, you will drive commercial activity, developing new business sales in new and existing accounts. In addition to maintaining strong working relationships with your peers, regional Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Business Value Consultants, and the Ecosystem (Partners, Alliance, Distributor), the Account Manager will maintain a close working relationship with the regional organization to ensure acquisition and adoption.

  This role requires excellent relationship, collaboration, and alignment with your colleagues.

  Key Responsibilities

  Sell enterprise-wide contracts for the AVEVA Industrial software portfolio to the most senior levels within our clients and prospects.

  Sustain a high level of engagement/activity on the assigned accounts territory.

  Plan and organize all related sales activities starting from prospecting through to closing business in line with the Framework of ONE AVEVA.

  Successful track record of new business creation, selling complex, high value business software and product agreements.

  Meet and exceed revenue and order targets supporting the sub-regional business.

  Generating sales and performing software presentations thus ensure targets are achieved, such target information will be communicated to you from time to time based on company’s Business Requirements.

  Prepare, maintain, and execute comprehensive Account Plans on top accounts, which outlines your strategic and tactical approaches for achieving your targets, including delivering Customer Success Plans with the CSM team.

  Work with line manager to define, launch and drive strategic and operational initiatives.

  Ensure the data quality in Salesforce is well maintained and opportunities, and all other client base records are up to date as well as accurate forecast.

  Assist customers with their enquiries, orders details and chasing pending payments.

  Travel regularly to promote AVEVA products and services.

  Be able to function effectively as a member of a team, have excellent communication skills, and develop good working relationships within AVEVA group.

  Experience selling into the Manufacturing, Life Science, Food & Beverage, Agro-Industry, Energy & Process would be an advantage.

  Must be self-motivated and self-driven whilst being a team player.

  Should be flexible, passionate, action-oriented, hardworking and target driven.

  Ideal Experience

  5+ years experience in a sales, (key) account management, with direct selling software solutions serving industries

  Proven track record with accountability for new logo acquisition , new business hunting and closing

  Experience in structuring and executing demand generation campaigns on your account territory, including cold calling by yourself, and generating new leads from pure new client or new business unit in existing clients.

  Experience in having business-oriented conversations from end user to senior decision makers within our target customer base and aligning their business problems with our technology solutions.

  Understanding of sales qualification methodology (MEDDPICC) and building out territory / account plans

  You will be personable, a strong team player and be able to conduct challenging business and commercial conversations with customers in a positive manner.

  Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  Bilingual in French and English is required.
