With three campuses along Colorado's Front Range, Front Range CommunityCollege is the state's largest community college. We enroll close to 28,000students annually from our diverse service area, which offers a variety ofcultural and recreational activities.
Each year approximately 5,000 FRCC students transfer to four-yearuniversities. FRCC offers more than 36 career training programs that preparestudents for immediate employment and rewarding careers. Last year, more than5,000 high school students took concurrent enrollment classes with us, earningcollege credit without having to pay college tuition. Who You AreAs the Academic Dean for Business and Computing Technology reporting to theVice President of Academic Affairs, you engage in energetic, visionary, andinclusive leadership to advance the College's mission and strategic goals andensure academic excellence. You demonstrate a strong commitment to studentsuccess and completion while supporting a fully diverse and inclusiveeducational environment.
In this role, you provide leadership to faculty and staff, set the directionfor programs and provide overall direction of program curricula and operationsfor Accounting, Business, Hospitality, Computer Networking, Programming,Computer Science, and Computer Information Systems.
You provide forward-thinking and inclusive leadership for faculty and staff tohelp them achieve excellence and innovation in teaching and learning, studentsuccess, faculty and staff development, and community engagement. As a keymember of the VPAA's Senior Leadership Team, you help set the direction forcollege programs and initiatives to ensure instructional quality and studentsuccess. As a member of this team, you provide leadership on initiatives,serve on the Academic Leadership Council and interact frequently with localschool, business, and community partners.
This position has the opportunity for occasional remote work opportunities,and there will be a substantial on-campus presence needed for our Larimer,Boulder County and Westminster Campuses.

SALARY: $102,500 - $107,625 annually

Primary Duties- Provide instructional leadership for assigned academic departments acrossall three FRCC campuses (Boulder County, Larimer, Westminster) while honoringthe unique communities each campus serves. Support department chairs ineducational planning to include curriculum and program development, coursescheduling and program reviews.
Develop and administer the assigned budget by collaborating with departmentchairs, faculty and staff to determine funding needs and priorities to supportprojects to accomplish teaching and learning goals.
Work collaboratively as a member of the VPAA's Senior Leadership Team andAcademic Leadership Council to develop and implement a shared vision and plansto ensure that the educational needs of students and the community are met,and all students have opportunities for success. Collectively, the teamensures that all programs and services offered provide outstanding service tostudents, support teaching excellence, student success, and equity in studentoutcomes, are fiscally sound and meet college, system, and governmentalpolicies and guidelines.
