Purpose: DTI is seeking an ABAP Developer with mainframe experience to join our SAP development team. Role Description: This unique role requires a blend of expertise in ABAP programming and familiarity with mainframe environments to enhance and integrate SAP systems. This is ideal for an ABAP developer who understands the complexities of mainframe systems and is passionate about leveraging this knowledge in SAP development projects. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain SAP applications using ABAP, focusing on integration with mainframe systems. Collaborate with other developers and teams to ensure seamless SAP-mainframe integration. Optimize ABAP code for performance, particularly in mainframe-connected environments. Participate in the full lifecycle of SAP development, from design to implementation and support. Qualifications: Proficiency in ABAP, understanding of mainframe systems (e.g., COBOL, JCL), strong problem-solving abilities. Relevant certifications in SAP ABAP; mainframe certifications are a plus. Requirements: 5+ years in ABAP development, with specific experience in mainframe environments Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
