　　Certified Behavior Technician Job Description:

　　Certified Behavior Technicians (CBTs) will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). They are responsible for providing direct behavioral therapy to individuals with autism or developmental disabilities. CBT's implement Applied Behavior Analytic (ABA) programs, as written by the BCBA. CBT's will be responsible for teaching life skills and remediating skill deficits and eliminating problem behaviors. Certified Behavior Technicians work in a variety of settings including in client's homes, LEAPS centers, and school-based settings.

　　Certified Behavior Technician Minimum Requirements:

　　High School DiplomaAbility to complete training within 2 weeks and receive Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) licenseAbility to pass a background checkReliable transportation, proof of auto insurance, and valid driver's licenseAbility to interact in a positive and collegial manner with fellow staff members, families, and clientsCertified Behavior Technician Preferred Education/Experience:

Additional tasks and procedures have been put into place to enable services to be provided to L.E.A.P.S. clients. All cleaning responsibilities are required by each member of the L.E.A.P.S. staff to be completed regularly.
