About Ab Initio Engineer (Journeyman Core)

  Ab Initio Engineer (Journeyman Core)

  The Contractor shall support the PMO Systems Engineering and Architecture activities and processes to include the architecture, engineering analysis, design, and engineering plans and processes to achieve the IPPS-A program objectives and meet the associated Defense Acquisition Program requirements. The Contractor shall also identify, assess, and track program metrics for quality assurance of engineering and architecture performance.

  The resource will have expertise in Ab Initio Enterprise Data Platform and support Systems Engineering and Architecture in the following activities:

  Monitor DoD and Army sites for new standards, regulations, policies, etc. that may affect IPPS-A and recommend changes as deemed necessary.

  Review and provide impact analysis of the related architectural artifacts, Technical Authority (TA) memorandums, technical requests for information, and compliance inputs.

  Provide support to IPPS-A program IT portfolio management and compliance efforts by assisting the IPPS-A program with regular updates.

  Assist the IPPS-A program in reviewing systems engineering Contract Deliverables Requirements List (CDRLs).

  Provide oversight support to the IPPS-A program.

  Support of technical reviews (e.g., Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, In Progress Reviews, etc.) to include development of reports, recommendations, analysis and risk mitigation plans prior to or after the reviews.

  Support the Government in the review of SI deliverable documents, development and management of milestone deliverable documents such as the Information Support Plan (ISP), the Systems Engineering Plan (SEP), and Program Protection Plan (PPP).

  Assist the Government in the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Systems Engineering processes (e.g. change control processes, agile processes, etc.).

  Qualifications

  Required:

  Minimum of three (2) years of experience

  Bachelor's degree required

  Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  Must have Secret Security Clearance

  Ability to travel onsite to client location in Crystal City, VA on a hybrid basis

  0-50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
