**[Salary Range: Min $54,507.60 per year - Mid $67,711.30 per year

[JOB OVERVIEW: [This position performs advanced work of considerable difficulty including but not limited to the coordination and maintenance of geographic-based data in support of the operations of the Emergency Communications Department. This includes the County-wide GIS 9-1-1 mapping system and technical support for Countywide 9-1-1 issues. Work involves independent interaction with multiple County departments, local governments and entities, public safety agencies, regional organizations, and equipment and network vendors. Responsible for the maintenance of the Master Street Address Guide (MSAG) used by the Enhanced 9-1-1 system in St. Charles County.```{=html}
```- Responsible for verifying street name and address requests for various agencies, including the fire districts, municipalities, utility companies and citizens.

```- Approve and/or assign all new street names and addresses in unincorporated St, Charles County, and work closely with the municipalities within St. Charles County to ensure no duplication of street names and addresses within the County.

```- Handle public questions, requests, and complaints as it regards to addressing.

```- Acts as a liaison between telephone companies, citizens and other agencies in regard to 9-1-1 addressing issues.

```- Adds address points to all new developments in unincorporated St. Charles County.

```- Maintains a centralized database addressing system for Emergency Communications GIS applications.

```- Collects, analyzes, interprets, and edits geographic information provided by aerial photography, county data sources, or external sources.

```- Coordinates with County departments to facilitate data updates and transfers between databases as necessary.

```- Creates centerline, right-of-way, and boundary data.

```- Creates GIS products and reports for various county departments and fire and EMS agencies.
