  Summary:

  Navico Group is a newly formed stand-alone division of Brunswick, the world’s largest recreational marine business with iconic brands Sea Ray, Boston Whaler, Bayliner, and Mercury. Navico Group provides a broad array of parts, accessories, and integrated systems to the global marine and RV industries. Our product portfolio spans from general marine accessories (anchors, cleats, seating hardware) to sophisticated digital switching and Li-ion battery systems. Navico Group sells directly to the world’s largest boat/RV OEMs and to retailers, such as Amazon, Walmart, Bass Pro Shops, and West Marine.

  In this role, the Material Handler/Driver/Inventory Control* will be directly reporting to the Receiving Supervisor. This position significantly contributes to Navico Group’s manufacturing and distribution departments and is vital in our efforts of achieving operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

  Key Responsibilities:

  Maintenance and reconciliation of inventory levels throughout ERP and WMS systems

  Processes receipt of materials into ERP and WMS systems via purchase orders or documentation

  Performs physical count of inventory through documented cycle counting SOPs

  Completion of on-site certification for the use and operation of a stand-up, deep reach Hilo

  Proper and safe transport of material within the facility utilizing a stand-up, deep reach Hilo

  Assign stock to storage locations including bays/bins, bulk storage, and storage trailers

  Ability and willingness to perform driver tasks including but not limited to order picking, storing/put away, replenishment, vendor picking, and production picking

  Commitment to upholding and maintaining inventory accuracy and integrity

  Pick and palletize inventory by SKU numbers, piece quantity, and/or location

  Fulfill and load customer orders accurately and timely

  Ensure orders being shipped meet customer routing and compliance guides by labelling and arranging product per customer specifications

  Ability and willingness to use warehouse equipment including but not limited to pallet jacks, order picking carts, communication radios, order picker, and sit-down Hilo.

  Ability and willingness to prepare outbound shipments for transportation including identifying proper carrier, gathering weights and dimensions, and placing PRO tracking numbers on pallets

  Working safely under OSHA and company guidelines to prevent injury of themselves and others around them

  Adherence to documented Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure quality of work for our customers

  Contributing to the upkeeping of a safe, clean work area

  Other duties as required and assigned by management

  Required Skills and Capabilities:

  Proven ability to read and reconcile a packing slip against a purchase order and ERP system

  Exhibited capabilities to calculate numerous units of measure (each, units, cartons, feet, etc.)

  Proficient capacity to count inventory routinely while maintaining expected accuracy rate

  Demonstrated ability to operate a stand-up, deep reach Hilo

  Demonstrated ability to perform all affiliated RF gun transactions with corresponding job responsibilities in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

  Demonstrate a positive attitude and resilience. Adapts constructively to pressure, setbacks, challenges, and change to achieve and sustain peak performance

  Works cooperatively and collaboratively within a group, as well as individually

  Approaches others in a tactful manner and treats others respectfully, regardless of their status or position, and accepts responsibility for own actions

  Works with integrity and ethically

  Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. on occasion

  Education Requirements:

  High school diploma or GED requiredExperience:

  6 months experience working in a warehouse/distribution environment preferred

  Prior stand-up/deep reach Hilo experience preferred

  Prior familiarity with RF gun technology or related technologies preferred

  Prior sit-down Hilo and/or Order Picker experience preferred

  Comprehension of order flow throughout warehouse operations preferred

  Basic math skills

  Work Environment:

  Standard shift operates Monday-Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm. Occasional to Frequent daily/weekend overtime based on seasonal and business needs

  Ability to be on feet for 8-10 hours of each shift in a continuously fluid and fast-paced environment

  Must be able to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch on a frequent basis.

  Must follow proper lifting techniques while keeping safety at the forefront of all tasks
