High School English Teacher {2024-2025}

　　Freire Schools is seeking a full-time English teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Exact grade to be determined, but possible grade levels range from 9th - 12th grade at either our Tech High School or Center City High School Campus. Freire staff members are forward-thinking team players passionate about working with and unleashing the potential of urban youth. In each graduating class, 89% to 92% of our college-attending graduates return to college for their sophomore year, compared to just 69% nationally.Freire Charter School just was awarded a $2M grant and Freire Wilmington a $1.8M 5-year grant to continue their 21st CCLC programs for the next five years.TECH Freire was one of only five schools, out of 39 total applications, approved to open a new Philadelphia charter school in 2016.
