　　Northrop Grumman is seeking Data Science interns for a summer internship opportunity. This position will be located at our Mission Systems Sector in Baltimore, MD.

　　The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's DECD Organization.

　　Basic Qualifications

　　A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

　　Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2024.

　　Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.

　　Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2024.

　　Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

　　Working proficiency with Data Visualization/BI tools like Tableau

　　Working proficiency with SQL

　　Familiarity with agile development practices

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.

　　DoD Top Secret Clearance

　　Currently pursuing Master's or PhD Degree

　　Proficiency in Python

　　Familiarity with machine learning, statistical analysis, or other related disciplines

　　Familiarity with data prep tools like Tableau Prep or Alteryx

　　At Northrop Grumman, our internship pay rates are standardized and take into account three main factors: the anticipated graduation date of the individual, the cost of labor of the geographic location, and whether the internship is considered technical or administrative.

　　Salary Range: $24 - $37

　　The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

　　Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
