　　Summary

　　The roles and responsibilities of this position encompass of Build to print commodities primarily focus on supplier qualification, supplier quality performance, manage localization projects, FAI and MVP.

　　Detailed Description

　　Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

　　Contributes to the supplier identification and qualification process

　　Prepares engineering calculation, estimates and minor designs

　　Analyse the quoted and bids

　　Collaborate with senior engineers to analyse the technical requirements and propose solutions

　　Participate in driving the supplier performance management e.g. DPPM, SQIP etc

　　Document and maintain the records of NPIs (FAI, PPAP documentations)

　　Any other related to department requirement

　　Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

　　Basic understanding of mechanical systems-, GDT, DFM, FMEA, GR&R etc

　　Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

　　knowledge of Mechanical hardware

　　ISO9001 familiarity is a plus

　　Familiarity with PPAP process is a plus

　　Knowledge of mechanical design software- Solid works/Creo

　　Familiarity with project managent process is a plus

　　Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to think and propose solutions

　　25% Travel is required

　　Physical Demands

　　Duties of the position are performed in a manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, operating machinery, temperature extremes, hazardous substances, etc.

　　Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.

　　Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.

　　Typical Experience

　　Zero to two years in a relevant positionTypical Education

　　Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, -Mechanical/Mechatronics/ Manufacturing /Materials engineering

　　0-2 yeas of related experience in engineering, manufacturing, quality management and SCM discipline preferred or equivalent of combination of experience
