We are seeking a proactive leader with top caliber financial and analytical skills and strong interpersonal and service skills, that will thrive in a fast-paced, high growth environment. As the Blue Origin Lunar Permanence CFO, you will partner with the Senior Executive of a complex, rapidly growing business unit to drive financial performance improvement and predictability while building a best-in-class business.This role will provide critical analysis and financial strategy as an advisor to business leaders, supporting strategic operating decisions. These may include decisions on capital investments, mission objectives, schedule performance, new business opportunities, and product and service pricing. You'll be tasked with building the financial infrastructure and a scalable finance function that has the right people, processes, and tools to enable growth.We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!Ability to work on site from our Kent, WA location is required.Relocation provided.Responsibilities include but are not limited toDevelop self and others with a strong leadership presence, seeking feedback, continuously coaching, driving engagement, and providing developmentDevelop and deliver business unit financial commitments in program/project EACs, investment returns, AOPs, and multi year financial planning processFacilitate change by seeking opportunities to improve systems, processes, and model adaptabilityDrive financial control by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and proceduresReview bids and proposals, customer contract performance, and new opportunity developmentEstablish finance operational strategies by evaluating trends, establishing critical measurements, resolving problems, and implementing changeEliminate bottlenecks to improve cycle timeDrive financial transformation to drive automation and access to informationPerform financial analysis to support investments, pricing and new business decisions, and maximize returns on invested fundsEstablish targets, drive progress, and measure results to drive cost reductions and efficiencyContribute to development of Finance related trainingParticipate in customer, supplier, and vertical integration strategies and negotiations, and collaborate on strategic partnerships and M&A activitiesAccomplish finance related HR strategy by determining accountabilities, presenting and implementing values, policies, and procedures in conjunction with recruitment and workforce management activitiesForecast capital, facilities, and staff requirements, identify monetary resources, and develop action plansSupervise financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variancesLead improvement of risk and opportunity analysis and development of mitigation plansSkills and AbilitiesServe as a thought partner to Business Unit Executive/CEO helping to advise, influence and drive key business decisions, demonstrating a strategic and practical approach to build, manage and lead an efficient and impactful finance organization.Skilled in creating and building fundamental framework and core financial infrastructure including people, process and tools.Effective inf
