The Vice President of Program & Project Management Office providesleadership across Project and Program Management, User AcceptanceTesting, and Business Analysis to improve cross functional execution ofthe company\'s Program Management Office (PMO) and strategic businessprograms. This role leads and drives the PMO operations improvementeffort across the organization by developing a strategic vision,direction and implementation of core operations, business segmentperformance, and improve information acuity for operating the businessefforts.
General Functions and Outcomes
Develops and communicates short and long range strategic andtactical plans, goals and objectives related to the projectmanagement office and ensures integration with other enterprisefunctions.Oversees the quality and business engineering department to ensuresuccessful development of end to end quality, consumer focusedbusiness requirements to ensure delivery of projects, programs andoutcomes.Oversees the alignment, vision and roadmap for projects andinitiatives across multiple divisions. Ensures successprogram/project delivery and within budget.Provides oversight to ensure operational standards and performancegoals are met and plan is in compliance with federal and stateregulations. Champions opportunities for increased productivity,accuracy and customer satisfaction.Determines appropriate staffing levels and resource needs, createsand manages department and/or project budgets, allocates resources,and approves expenditures.Fosters an effective work environment and ensure employees receiveappropriate communication, recognition and development. Participatesin organizational talent management and succession planning.Minimum Requirements
Proven business acumen including strong financial/budget management,data analysis and decision making.Ability to create, execute and evaluate short- and long-termstrategic and operational plans.Strong influence, communication and problem solving skills alongwith the ability to resolve issues and build consensus among groupsof diverse stakeholders, both within and outside the organization.Ability to raise awareness of performance gaps and secure supportfrom leaders across the organization to launch needed improvements.Demonstrated ability to manage managers and lead high performingteams and to organize and support cross functional activities todeliver results in a complex, matrix organizational structure.Demonstrated ability to provide oversight and understanding ofbusiness process redesign and to drive change in order to improvebusiness outcomes.Proven ability to apply broad knowledge and innovative problemsolving to create competitive business plans that improve qualityand lower cost.Demonstrates a well-founded understanding of the insurance industry.Demonstrated successful track record of creation, planning andexecution of complex enterprise-wide strategies and programs.The Vice President Program & Project Management Office would have aBachelor\'s degree in Business Administration or related field(Master\'s degree preferred) and 10 years of experience in healthcareoperations and business process improvement, to include five years ofexperience in project management and 10 years of experience ofmanagement/leadership experience or equivalent combination of educationand experience.

Work primarily performed in an office environment.Travel may be required, eith r locally or out of state.The expected hiring range for a VP of Program & Project ManagementOffice is \$189,500-256,500 depending on skills, experience, education,and training; relevant licensure / certifications; performance history;and work location. The bonus target for this position is 25% . Thecurrent full salary range for this role is \$178,000-290,000.
