Drive a tractor-trailer combinationor a truck with a capacity of at least 26,001 pounds Gross VehicleWeight (GVW). 2. Inspects mechanical condition and safety of truck andemergency equipment before and after trips and submits report indicatingtruck condition. 3. Inspects loads to ensure cargo is secured. 4.Maintains logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status. 5.Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signalsfrom loading crew and checking that vehicle and loading equipment areproperly positioned. 6. Collect delivery instructions from appropriatesources, verifying instructions and routes. 7. Drive trucks to weighstations before and after loading and along routes in compliance withstate regulations. 8. Read and interpret maps to determine vehicleroutes. 9. Operate equipment, such as truck cab computers, CB radios,phones, or global positioning systems (GPS) equipment to exchangenecessary information with bases, supervisors, or other drivers.Additional requirement: The beneficiary is obliged to obtain a CDLlicense within 60 days upon his/her arrival. Days/hours: Mon-Fri6am-1pm. Work Hours may vary. Wage: \$28.00-\$30.00 per hour. Overtimeavailable and will be paid \$42.00-\$45.00 per hour. Location: DesPlaines, IL 60018. Daily travel is required (90%-100%) to the variousclients within the following counties: DuPage County, IL; Will County,IL; Cook County, IL; Lake County, IL; Madison County, WI;. The employerwill use a single workweek to compute wages due. All deductions from theworkers paycheck required by law will be made. The worker will be paidon weekly basis. The employer will provide the worker at no charge alltools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. There willbe no on-the-job training. The employer guarantees to offer work forhours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-weekperiod of the total employment period. H-2B worker will be reimbursed inthe first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, andother related fees, including those mandated by the government(excluding passport fees). Transportation (including meals and, to theextent necessary, lodgings) to the place of employment will be provided,or it\'s cost to workers reimbursed if the worker completes half theemployment period. Daily transportation to and from the job site will beprovided. Workers will be provided with board, lodging, or otherfacilities, and/or the employer will assist workers in securing hoard,lodging, or other facilities. Housing is optional and the cost ofhousing with any deductions will be consistent with the 9142B (specifichousing costs arc unknown, but lodging will not exceed reasonable fairmarket value cost based on the number of occupants). If the workercompletes50% of the work contract period, the employer will arrange andpay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place ofrecruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract,or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or payfor workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistenceback home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, exceptwhere the worker will not return due to subsequent employment withanother employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursementwill be qual to the most economical and reasonable common carrier forthe distances involved.
