Aboveall, we believe that collaboration is the best way forward.The primary duties of the Transportation Project Manager to serve in a projectmanager and technical role, on the engineering development of urban andrural highway/roadway projects. The duties will include overseeing thepreparation of plans, specifications and estimate for multi-disciplinaryprojects including for CDOT, Local Agencies, and other clients. This workincludes overseeing the work of CAD Designers and EITs andtraining/mentoring junior staff. Project involvement will range from sitefeasibility analysis to final design and through the construction phase.Experience should include urban and rural highways and interchanges,intersection design, traffic management, transportation planning, siteplanning, preparation of concept alignments, geometrical layout, and CADbase alignment plans. Coordination of survey, grading, drainage andutilities and layout of various site items is a plus. Will have a fair amountoKeyword(s): HIGHWAY ENGINEER, ROADWAY DESIGN, HIGHWAY DESIGN,TRANSPORTATION, ENGINEERING, PROJECT MANAGER#LI-LA1QualificationsQualificationsBS in Civil Engineering or related disciplinePE requiredMinimum of 7 years' experience in highway and municipal roadway designA minimum of 2 years of project management experienceDemonstrated leadership skills, communication skills and ability to workwith various teamsExperience should include street/arterial roadways, urban and ruralhighway interchanges, intersection design, traffic management,preparation of concept alignments, geometrical layout and CAD base alignmentplAble to manage day-to-day communication (verbal and written) with theclient, support and advise junior engineers and technical staff, writereports and technical memos, coordinate with subconsultants, keep projecton schedule and within budget, and keep client satisfiedAssist with preparation of scopes, budgets and schedulesExcellent communication, motivation, and organizational skills.Time management skills on delivering on multiple projects that overlapAble to work collaboratively in a team settingAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of ouremployee-owned culture is a must.Preferred QualificationsPreferred 10 years' experience in highway and municipal roadway designPreferred 2-4 years of project management experienceExperience with CDOT and Colorado municipal roadway projectsExperience with Bentley OpenRoads Designer and/or AutoCAD/Civil 3DExperience with fostering client relationships and leading pursuit efforts.Local candidatesWhy HDRAt HDR, we know work isn't only about who you work for it's also aboutwhat you do and how you do it.
