About the RoleThe Transportation Demand Management (TDM) Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and implementing transportation demand programs to support the efficient and sustainable movement of people within and around the Anaheim region. Additionally, this position is a key role in contract administration related to transportation services and ensuring compliance with federal and state clean air act requirements, including Rule 2202, and contribute to sustainable transportation solutions.

Develop and implement a TDM Program aimed at encouraging the use of Anaheim Transportation Networks (ATN) sustainable public transportation services, and other alternative modes such as biking, walking, ridesharing, and other public transit optionsEstablish policies and procedures for ATNs TDM ProgramCollaborate with the brand management team to develop innovative technology, programs, and collateral that promote the reduction of single occupancy vehicles and traffic congestion in the Anaheim region using ATN services focused on enhancing employee experience and engagementCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and prioritize ATNs TDM program strategies that enhance mobility and reduce congestionConduct research and analysis to assess transportation demand patterns and trends, and use data-driven insights to develop targeted programs and initiativesManage and monitor the performance and effectiveness of ATNs TDM Program, and make recommendations for improvements and adjustments as neededDevelop and maintain relationships with local businesses, employers, and residential communities to promote ATNs TDM Program and initiativesCoordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of ATNs TDM Program and services with existing transportation infrastructure and servicesOversee contract administration related to transportation services, including monitoring compliance with contract terms, reviewing invoices, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, regional, and local regulationsPrepare and present reports and presentations on TDM Program performance to internal and external stakeholdersWork collaboratively with the marketing and communications team to provide support for the development and execution of marketing and communications strategies for ATNs programs and service offeringsStay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and innovations in transportation demand management to drive continuous improvement and enhancement of ATN's programsAdditional tasks and projects as assigned to support the overall success of ATNs initiativesCandidate Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other
Enthusiasm for /interest in sustainable transportationStrong knowledge of transportation demand management principles, strategies, and best practicesExperience in developing and implementing transportation demand programs and initiativesProficient in data analysis and utilization of transportation demand management software and toolsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively articulate complex transportation concepts to different audiencesStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultane uslyProven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholdersHighly adaptable and flexible when faced with ambiguityFamiliarity with local transportation policies, regulations, and initiatives is preferredCertified Transportation Demand Management Professional (CDTMP) certification is a plusEducation and Experience
Bachelor's degree in transportation planning, urban planning, or a related field. Master's degree is a plusMinimum of 5 years of experience in transportation demand management, transportation planning, or a related fieldAdditional Requirements
