About Trading Fee Controller Analyst

  Are you interested in getting insight into controlling Morgan Stanley’s trading fees? We are looking for a new colleague to join our Brokerage and Clearing team based in Budapest.   *You will: *

  • Support the fee calculation processes and implementation of fee schedule changes in the calculation engines for North America Exchanges• Gain a strong understanding of specific markets and processes to advise on financial impact of pricing changes and business decisions to Business Units and support financial controllers in interpretation• Maintain a strong control environment to ensure timely and accurate data is available for the month-end GL entries and management reporting processes• Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests to Business Units to support decision making and advise on client requests• Play a key role in a range of projects involving financial controllers, IT teams, project managers and trading desk representatives

  *You have: *

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance/Accounting or related fields with 1 years of experience • Understanding of financial products and accounting principles • Fluent spoken and written English • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels • Analytical and technical mindset, pro-active attitude • Experience in SAP reporting tools is an advantage • Database experience (SQL) is an advantage

  *Team Profile: *The Budapest Trading Fees Controlling team, within the Finance department, is responsible for expense management and control for trading related fees, communication with broker firms, exchange and clearing houses and Morgan Stanley Finance Controller groups. We cover month end closing tasks, variance and trend analysis, GL account reconciliation, invoice reconciliation and payment, and delivering on ad hoc requests from Finance management and Business Units/Trading desks.
