About Test Engineering Associate Manager

  Test Engineering Associate Manager (Accenture LLP; Irving, TX): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Test Engineering Associate Manager in Irving, TX, and the job duties are as follows:

  Plan, construct, and execute test scripts through the use of quality processes and methodologies for Accenture or clients.

  Develop, update, and maintain quality testing standards and procedures.

  Create test models (plans, data, and scripts), including test data.

  Execute regression testing, test automation, performance testing, functionality testing, and usability testing.

  Review the development process to ensure that defect tracking (identification, fixing, re-testing, and migration of defects) is properly addressed.

  Understand strategic direction set by senior management, and implement methods and procedures set by management.

  Work with team members to gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specifications.

  BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience providing consulting and technical services to companies in the Telecommunications industry and the Automotive industry.

  Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:

  Planning test approaches, scenarios, and data, for regression and progression testing;

  Creating test scripts;

  Supervising day-to-day test preparation and execution activities for team members; and

  Creating daily status reports and escalating any risks and issues.

  Must have 1 year of experience in each of the following:

  Using Agile delivery and Agile test management tools, including Jira and Zephyr;

  Developing Test Automation utilizing Tricentis, Tosca, or POSTMAN;

  Setting up test management tools and coordinating test resources for quality assurance, resource scheduling, and activity tracking; and

  Creating Quality Gates for GO/NOGO decisions of hardware and software throughout development cycles.

  Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
