About Technology Risk, Assistant Vice President

  Who we are looking for

  Our technology function, Global Technology Services (GTS), is vital to State Street and is the key enabler for our business to deliver data and insights to our clients. We're driving the company's digital transformation and expanding business capabilities using industry best practices and advanced technologies such as cloud, artificial intelligence and robotics process automation. We are looking for an experienced Risk Manager to help maintain and mature our Technology Risk Management Programs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with IT Risk, project management, and strong analytical skills.

  What you will be responsible for

  As Technology Risk, Assistant Vice President you will

  Perform gap analysis and compliance assessment to identify potential regulatory issues and to drive remediation planning to ensure compliance with APAC regulatory obligations.Perform comprehensive risk assessments by aggregating and analyzing risk and control data as well as engaging with technology subject matter expertsMay provide technical analysis, testing, assessment, and project management support for various First Line of Defense programsSupport issue identification and facilitate audit / regulatory examinationsSupport governance and oversight of remediation efforts for risk, control and regulatory issuesClosely collaborate with Technology teams and risk and control stakeholders across the lines of defense, both globally and regionallyKeeps up to date on relevant policy, standards and regulatory requirements

  Knowledge and experience in technology risk and regulatory landscape in APAC financial services industry, specifically awareness on China regulations is a plusExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organizationStrong analytical and problem solving skillsAttention to detail and a propensity to drive issues toward resolutionKnowledge of IT frameworks such as NIST, ISO, COBIT, ITIL a plus

  Education & Preferred Qualifications

  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems, Risk Management or a related field, or equivalent experience8+ years of relevant technology risk, information security or audit experienceProfessional designation a plus (e.g. CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC).
