　　Team Intro

　　The U.S. Data Security office is hiring a Technical Project Manager who will focus on software assurance. Our team focused on ensuring progress is being made to our security and privacy commitments.

　　In order to enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, among other things, at this time, our organization follows a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the office 3 days a week, or as directed by their manager/department. We regularly review our hybrid work model, and the specific requirements may change at any time.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Build Pipeline Management:

　　Collaborate with development teams to design, implement, and optimize efficient and reliable build pipelines.

　　Ensure automated build, test, and deployment processes are in place, enhancing the software development lifecycle.

　　Microservices Coordination:

　　Work closely with cross-functional teams to oversee the development, deployment, and management of micro-services.

　　Facilitate communication and alignment among teams to ensure smooth integration and interoperability of microservices.

　　Code Review Process:

　　Provide guidance to development teams for constructive code reviews and continuous improvement.

　　Software Assurance Management:

　　Lead and manage the Software Assurance pillar, ensuring the security, reliability, and quality of software products.

　　Define and implement strategies for identifying and mitigating software vulnerabilities and risks.

　　Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

　　Analyze potential risks and vulnerabilities within software development processes and micro-services architecture.

　　Collaboration and Communication:

　　Foster effective communication and collaboration across engineering, security, and quality assurance teams.

　　Act as a bridge between technical teams and management, providing regular updates on Software Assurance progress.

　　Project Planning and Execution:

　　Create and manage project plans, timelines, and milestones related to the Software Assurance pillar.

　　Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to ensure on-time delivery.

　　Continuous Improvement:

　　Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and security of software development process

　　Regularly assess and refine build pipelines, micro-services practices, and code review procedures.

　　Technical Expertise:

　　Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to build pipelines, microservices, and software assurance.

　　Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

　　Metrics and Reporting:

　　Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to software assurance, build pipelines, and micro-services.

　　Prepare and present regular reports to stakeholders, showcasing progress, and updates.

　　Qualifications

　　- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).

　　- Proven experience in technical program management, preferably in a software development environment.

　　- In-depth understanding of build pipelines, microservices architecture, and code review processes.

　　- Familiarity with software assurance practices, security protocols, and risk mitigation strategies.

　　- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

　　- Experience with project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.

　　Proficiency in analyzing technical data and metrics to make informed decisions.

　　- Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry trends.

　　[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

　　The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $130000 - $245000 annually.

　　Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
