  ESSENTIAL DUTIES: (Primary Duties and Responsibilities)Partner with Aqua's Project Management Office (PMO) to lead the design and implementation of technology solutions related M365, MS Active Directory, VMware, Citrix, and end-user solutions.Provide the appropriate design, build, support, and maintenance of Windows Server, virtualization, and desktop operating systems. Work with the Service Desk to manage the up-time and operations of these systems.Serve as a technology subject matter expert on key technology trends leading to innovative solutions that meet corporate initiatives.Deliver strategic oversight and planning for M365 systems, and desktop to ensure technology components are properly designed in alignment with enterprise strategies.Provide daily administration and support of customer information systems on Windows, VMware, Citrix, and Red Hat platforms including security, system patches, upgrades, configuration changes and the maintenance of production and test configurations.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation. Provide required documentation for operational handover to Service Desk from design, build, and execute phases of projects.Follow security design and operational best practices to ensure the corporate network and entire infrastructure is operated and maintained in a secure environment -- monitor both internal compliance and external threats.Provide capacity planning for the effective use of current systems and plan for growth of the corporation. Support the company's plans for system consolidation and standardization.Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing and execution of the disaster plan when warranted in a real time/life situation and by way of annual testing.Facilitate the implementation of appropriate change management procedures following formal and informal processes when implementing production system changes.Serve as escalation point for Service Desk team to ensure incident response and request fulfillment related to mobile and desktop devices are managed to meet defined SLT's and SLA's.Assists with other tasks or projects as assignedTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   QUALIFICATIONS (Required Experience, Education, Licenses, and Certifications)Bachelor's in Information Technology or Computer ScienceAt least 7 years of engineering and design experience with Microsoft technologiesExperience with M365, Windows Server, Windows 10, MS SCCM, and Active Directory requiredAutomation and PowerShell scripting experience preferredCurrent Microsoft MCSE preferred

  KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: (Examples below)Azure, M365, and SCCM experience preferredAutomation and PowerShell scripting experience preferredRed Hat Enterprise Linux experience preferredSCADA technologies experience a plusExcellent written and verbal communications skills; communicate effectively (clearly, concisely, and professionally) with internal cu tomersStrong customer service skillsAbility to work well under pressureAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environmentA team player able to work effectively in a team fostered multi-tasking environment

  WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Perform sedentary work- exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.See, hear, talk, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.Operate standard office equipment.Working conditions may include travel to work sites of Essential Utilities and/or other constituents (if applicable)Travel Requirements up to 2%
