General Information:

　　Supply Chain Intern within the Transformers division, you will assist the Accessories Category Management team. You will use professional communication, critical thinking, and time management skills to support Category Managers on active strategic sourcing projects. As a Supply Chain Intern, you will work with other motivated interns and members of the Category Management, Planning & Fulfillment, and local Plant teams to expand your knowledge, skills, and abilities related to Supply Chain.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Manage and lead a sourcing project with guidance from a Category ManagerUnderstand supplier cost structure and develop competitive benchmarkManage and lead qualification activities toward introducing new source of supplyManage and resolve critical supplier shortcomingsActively promote component standardizationApply and implement Hitachi Energy SCM standards, tools, and processesBusiness travel - 1-3 possible trips over the summer internship period

　　Rising junior or senior obtaining their bachelor's degree in related field OR master's studentParticipation in school or extracurricular activities and experience in leadership rolesDemonstrated project management skills for multi-discipline projectsGood communication skills both oral and writtenExcellent teamwork and collaboration skillsProficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Multilingual is a plus
