Supply Chain Blue Yonder WMS Solution Architect

　　Location: Europe (Any)

　　As a WMS (Warehouse Management System) Solution Architect, you will be responsible for architecting WMS solutions that meet the needs of some of the most complex businesses across multiple industries, including retail, consumer goods and logistics. You will bring deep knowledge of Blue Yonder WMS solution and vast experience on how best it can be leveraged to meet operational needs whilst minimising technical complexity.

　　Within the projects you are involved, you will be responsible for designing WMS solutions including interoperability with connected systems and will support projects throughout the project delivery lifecycle. You will also play an integral role in sales activity, helping to curate estimates and plans for projects and opportunity pursuits and bring your knowledge and expertise to bear to help us win new work. As a leader within our WMS practice, you will also help shape best practices and develop our people. This role will be a specialist in the Blue Yonder WMS Solution (Discrete), deployed in both standalone and via a SaaS solution.

　　Key Roles and Responsibilities:

　　Involved in leading delivery of most complex client technical projects.

　　Build senior client relationships through high quality delivery work

　　Act as solution architect across multiple projects spanning multiple industries including retail, consumer goods and logistics.

　　Support in the definition of business and technical requirements to ensure strategies and solutions are aligned with client needs and business case, minimising unnecessary technical complexity through constructive appraisal and challenge.

　　Design high quality end-to-end solutions to meet the client’s business needs both now and in the future by ensuring solutions are fit for purpose, scalable resilient and secure

　　Define detailed specifications according to which solutions are defined, managed, and delivered.

　　Design and oversee the Design, configuration and build of the WMS solution and its integration with other interconnected systems.

　　Ensure design practices, artefacts and processes are in line with leading industry patterns and practices.

　　Provide technical governance and assurance for proposed solutions throughout the delivery life cycle.

　　Identify and mitigate existing business risk or risks associated with solution design and delivery

　　Support and lead in the development of internal architecture best practices and people

　　Build expertise of best-in-class solutions / technology

　　What we’re looking for:

　　Strong working knowledge of Blue Yonder WMS Solution (Discrete)

　　Proven technical experience in fields of application, change, integration, architectural design, and review.

　　Strong problem-solving skills - Experience in resolving complex technical, strategic, and business issues.

　　Strong estimating skills – able to understand requirements and translate these into effort estimates for the implementation of solutions to fulfil these requirements considering optimal TCO and business case return on investment.

　　Able to work with the senior team (Managing Directors and Senior managers) helping to deliver pre-sales proposals and content to position Accenture as a leading market Systems Integrator for WMS programmes.
