Job Description

　　Insight Global is looking for a Substation Engineering Supervisor to join one of our Engineering Procurement Construction clients in the New Orleans area. The Substation Engineering Supervisor will lead and oversee the physical substation design and layout for large utility projects, perform quality reviews, and build, train, and mentor a team of engineers/drafters. This individual will be in charge of coordinating the project scope, timeline, evaluations, revisions, and budgets with the client, stakeholders, other engineering teams, and subcontracting companies in order to successfully deliver High Voltage Substation Facilities. The Substation Engineering Supervisor will direct others in the detailed design of High to EHV utility substations including one-line diagrams substation physical layouts (Electrical Bus Grounding Shielding Lighting Conduit Site Grading Fence Storm Water Foundation Plan & Details), selection of substation equipment, writing of substation equipment specifications, and

　　Skills and Requirements

　　* 8+ years of substation engineering experience

　　* Experience working in the electric utility industry

　　* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering

　　* Ability to become a Certified Professional Engineer * PE License

　　* Management/supervisory experience null
