About Sr. Financial Analyst

  Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst. This position is based at our Athens, GA facility. Relocation benefits are being offered for this opportunity.

  The Sr. Financial Analyst is responsible to prepare, control, and analyze the financial records of this facility and to provide management with timely and accurate information so as to allow for proactive rather than reactive decisions.

  The expected annual salary range for this role is $77249.97 - $113299.96 a year.

  What you'll do:

  Prepares monthly forecasting process including income statement, balance sheet, and memo rows. Ensure that the monthly forecast is accurately and completely loaded into Eaton's financial systems - ENCORE and DFTFacilitates month-end and year-end closing activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and other general financial analysis.Performs review throughout month of financial statements compared to forecast. Researches and reviews any variances.Maintains and updates local and SCM cost out information on a monthly basis.Prepares various reports and schedules for internal, divisional, and corporate purposesDevelops reporting mechanisms for tracking start-up expenses and customer paid tooling for new projectsDeep knowledge on account payables processes from start to end.Ensure the timely and accurate supervision of hourly payrollSupport annual Profit PlanSupport annual SOX DSA processParticipate in multiple cross functional teams and serve as team financial expertPerform other duties as requiredStandard cost rolls up champion - Burden rates, tack ons, material, material overhead calculations and routing upgrades of new and existing products. Co-lead physical inventory. CAR plant champion to maintain capex budgets on track and in compliance with Eaton policies.Plant Cost out co-champion with OPEX manager and Plant Controller.Participation in RIEs, VSM, BPI activities with other cross functional teams to identify and execute cost out projects. Assist the controller in pricing strategies and new product launch models/scenarios.Supervise remote support analysts.

  Qualifications:

  Required Basic Qualifications:

  Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration and/ or Finance Minimum of three (3) years experience in Accounting and/or Finance Must be authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the futureRelocation benefits are available for those within the United States willing to relocate to the Athens, GA area. Candidates within a 50-mile radius of Athens, GA will also be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Five (5) years or more of experience in Accounting and/or Finance Experience within a manufacturing environment

  Skills

  Ability to work in an environment with tight deadlines and conflicting prioritiesStrong Understanding of Internal ControlsStrong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Strong communications skills to facilitate presentations to all levels of the organization
