We are looking for a motivated and creative leader to help shape and support our mission.Position provides expertise in managing program cost data and supporting proposal pricing activities to ensure that the GD-OTS Seattle management team is provided with accurate financial information as required.Major Position ResponsibilitiesPerform pricing responsibilities and act as "pricing proposal focal" for the Seattle organization.Create Proposals in ProPricer and supply necessary reports to Program Management.Link Travel Estimates in ProPricer and support customer requirements.Manage Rates used in ProPricer to support bid and proposal activity.Update Proposal Review decks (financial slides) to support reviews.Attend and present detailed financials during proposal reviews. Ability to clearly present the data to leadership in a concise manner and ability to answer follow up questions.Ensure deliverables are completed timely and with first pass quality.Perform cost responsibilities to support development and production programs.Set up new activities, projects, and baselines for new programs within internal finance systems (IFS, TM1)Prepare and distribute weekly/monthly cost reporting including labor, HC, budget, labor utilization, ODC details. Work with Program Managers on detailed variance analysis reportingCreate customer billings (invoicing for CPFF, CPIF, FFP contracts based on progress payments, milestones, etc.).Support monthly current estimate process by understanding and communicating changes in forecasts from prior month during monthly business reviews.Update EACs on a quarterly basis including required reporting and PPTs to support reviews.Assist the Seattle Finance team by supporting the additional activities listed below:Supports requests from management for special projects/financial analysis.Interface with Home Office as required to support financial reporting requirements.Upholds accounting controls by following internal policies and procedures, CAS/FAR, US GAAP, and SOX.Support external audit requirements.Performs ad-hoc reporting (e.g., tax, backlog, supplemental) and analysis as requested.Basic QualificationsStrong interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment & across all levels of the organization.Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to effectively prepare and present information, as well as able to communicate clearly and persuasively to groups of managers, clients, customers, coworkers and the general public. Ability to effectively write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Self-starter, comfortable working independently, without day-to-day direction.Ability to prioritize and manage competing demands with time constraints.Team oriented and adaptable to changing environments.Able to understand instructions, perform complex modeling, and reporting tasks without direct supervision.Excellent computer skills.
