Design and develop computer software on an Agile team. Utilize experience inJava development and provide technical expertise at a high level,collaborating with teammates, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters. DevelopJava-based APIs, microservices, and cloud technologies. Ensure highquality deliverables and testing using a fully automated test framework.Perform code reviews to ensure quality of deliverables. Participate in thedevelopment of scalable enterprise applications in JSON, REST andmicro-services on private and public Cloud providers. Research and analyzeimpact for new capabilities. Ensure the successful completion of storiesduring each iteration to achieve Program Increment Objectives. Ensurefunctional development work, maintenance, and support activities arecompleted in adherence to Travelport technology standards. Utilize knowledgeof Eclipse, Linux, Spring/Hibernate, SonarQube, HTTPS, XML,WSDL, Postman, SQL, noSQL and SOAP services. Design, develop, andmaintain work focused on delivering nontraditional air content to agencyapplications. Generate ideas to improve the overall system design with a focuson streamlining and driving CI/CD initiatives and pipeline automation togenerate efficiencies in system flow. To further improve efficiencies,utilize JUnit, REST-Assured and other automated testing technologies andtools. Support the availability and stability of applications in production.Participate in leading and mentoring Agile teams with a substantial commitmentto DevOps practices and Behavior Driven Development. The position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, inComputer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related technicalfield and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in Javadevelopment.
