We have operated in Colorado for more than 100years and today have mining and milling operations near Leadville, Kremmlingand Empire. Our Climax mine is located between Frisco and Leadville. OurHenderson mine and mill are an hour's drive apart - separated by theContinental Divide and a 15-mile conveyor system (10 miles isunderground). The Henderson mine is about 50 miles west of Denver and 10miles west of Empire, and the mill is located between Dillon and Kremmling.
DescriptionUnder moderate supervision, oversee or perform a variety of warehouse dutiesinvolving the receiving, unloading, inventory, storing, movement anddistribution of goods and materials at assigned site.
Serve as a lead worker, overseeing and guiding the work of otherwarehouse workers and staff which may also including training of other workersReceive and unload goods and materials and places into inventory.Receive and review orders for goods and materials. Review inventory recordsto determine availability. Pull requested items for customers.Research discrepancies and resolve issues by contacting buyers and/orsuppliers to identify missing or incorrect part numbers and/or invoicenumbers.Updates warehouse management systems (WMS) as needed to:-Maintain records of delivered items and remaining inventory-Initiate restock of items as necessary-Update manual or automated inventory listingsWork with internal GSC to identify and optimize placement of new stockOperates a variety of light equipment, hand trucks and vehicles within awarehouse environmentDevelops working relationships with suppliers and buyers to facilitateworkflow. May work with suppliers to modify their processes which willstreamline work and create efficiencies for the warehouseInitiates corrections of inventory in coordination with Buyers, internalGSC, and Accounting personnel to maintain an accurate count.Perform other duties as requested, including duties assigned to WarehouseTech I and IIQualificationsMinimum Requirements:
Three (3) years of warehouse, inventory control, materialsmanagement, or related experience.Proficient in all Warehouse Technician I and II skillsThorough understanding of warehouse inventory control systems and purchaseorders.Ability to problem solve and do reconciliations and root cause analysis.Analytical skills are expectedKnowledge of purchasing rules, regulations, methods and forms.Expertise in operating a variety of light equipment, hand trucks andvehicles within a warehouse environment.Proficient bar code usageAbility to maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safetyprecautions. Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.Excellent Customer Service Skills; displays a professional can-do attitudeSolid computer skills with proficiency in email, and an understanding ofMicrosoft applications (Word, Excel, etc.).Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.Preferred Qualifications:
