Job Description

　　An up-and-coming Medical Device Company is seeking a Senior iOS Software Engineer to join their growing team in San Diego. In this position, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of their mobile applications. You will be responsible for development, and maintenance of our iOS applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior engineers to ensure the highest standards of code quality and performance. The ideal candidate will be the go-to for all things iOS development.

　　The day to day will consist of but not limited to:

　　* Design, develop, and maintain high-performance iOS applications.

　　* 20% Technical mentoring -- 80% hands on coding.

　　* Collaborate with the development team in architectural decisions and technical strategy.

　　* Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.

　　* Optimize mobile applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.

　　* Provide guidance to junior engineers, fostering their growth and development.

　　* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and solutions.

　　* Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and deliver features that meet user needs.

　　* Work closely with QA teams to ensure the quality and reliability of the iOS applications.

　　* Operates with high standards that are aligned to Certified B-Corp values.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　5+ years' experience in iOS development using Swift and SwiftUI

　　Experience in mentoring more jr engineers

　　Experience with iOS architecture components

　　Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services integration

　　Experience with code analysis and unit testing

　　Solid understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms * Experience developing Android application that communicates to Bluetooth Low Energy device.

　　* Experience working on a medical device or for a medical device company

　　* Has worked on one or more commercial mobile application.
