It's about impact, not location.What You'll DoYou will orchestrate conversations across teams, craft the point of view, drive the areas of opportunities, define the product requirements, and build authentic storylines that we can bring into the world. Your progress shows up through go-to-market messaging, a consumer facing Product Environmental Report, and in our Listen Better (ESG) Report through Case Studies.Responsible for developing and delivering the Product Sustainability point of view and product requirements on New Program Initiatives (NPI's).An understanding of Life Cycle Thinking to inform where we can reduce our product environmental impacts and align with our Sonos Climate Action Plan objectives and carbon footprint reduction goals.Collaborate with a wide range of cross functional teams to drive our Product Sustainability efforts to product solutions, both at an NPI level and beyond.Understand the competitive landscape through benchmarking.Facilitate design for serviceability workshops.Partner with User Research to understand the evolving consumer POV.Work with Marketing and PR to create targeted communication on sustainability wins.Develop presentations to communicate, influence, and educate with data.Deliver publicly viewed, consumer facing Product Environmental Reports (PER) demonstrating product level wins.What You'll NeedResearch shows that candidates from underrepresented backgrounds often don't apply for roles if they don't meet all the criteria. If you don't have 100% of the skills listed, we strongly encourage you to apply if interested.Basic Qualifications:A BA or BS in Sustainability and/or Industrial and/or CMF Design OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum of 810 years of related professional experience in a corporate or consulting design team environment.An understanding of product life cycle thinking and greenhouse gas accounting.Ability to influence, with strong storytelling and presentation skills.Ingenuity: You are able to creatively problem solve to achieve our targets.
