Job Introduction
This position needs an analytical, well-educated, knowledgeable, and motivated team-player with strong IT background and Process knowledge as well with technical skills in the SAP Customizing enviroment. The role should cover the technical perspective in SAP and elaborate the best strategy together in the Team in cooperation with the Divisions/Groups and Consultants, to achieve the best solution for our global SAP system landscape. The role should have both SAP ECC and S/HANA skills and ideally already experience in the SAP Cloud area. This position should be able to design and elaborate the best processes and technical setup for Magna if needed or requested.
Major Responsibilities
Analyze Business requirements and gaps not met by the existing systems / implementations.
Review of development specifications and related documents.
Consult for research and implementation assistance regarding new modules, features or interfaced/integrated new products.
Identify and analyzation of opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction through the application of Continuous Improvement methods across all functional areas.
Prioritize continuous improvement of processes in both production and execution by working with various functions and process owners.
Investigate and evaluate methods, processes, and procedures to determine changes or improvements in the SAP environment.
Documentation on technical conditions, preparing key user documentation and consulting documents.
Time tracking and documentation according to Magna IT standards.
Skills and Competencies
Very good process and customizing knowledge of SAP module FI/CO.
Very good knowledge in overlapping processes within the modules SD and MM would be a key advantage.
Good knowledge in networked thinking within the modules regarding functionalities and dependencies
Analytical and flexible approaches in the projects and coordination of available resources.
High external and internal service orientation, initiative, creativity, diligence, accuracy, and social skills.
Very good English communication skills, written and verbal, good inter-personal skills.
Good communication and presentation skills - also in dealing with senior stakeholders
Excellent performance and organizational skills.
Project and Time Management skills.
Must be able to work independently as well as a team player and can manage own workload.
Previous experience in SAP implementation and development of SAP configurations is preferred.
Able to collaborate with users and have a strong desire to MS Office Applications (Excel, Word, OneNote, PowerPoint and Visio).
Knowledge, Education and Work Experience
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or similar discipline.
A minimum of 5 years working as a business analyst, systems analyst, systems training, systems design, technical support, or applications programming.
Experience in Automotive Industry is desirable but not mandatory.
Work Environment
Regular travel 10-20% of the time.
