  Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented SAP Materials Management Business Analyst to join our team in the Ft. Detrick, MD area.

  Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  Collaborate with cross-functional teams and IT Operations, to gather and understand business requirements related to key DoD medical logistics functions, specifically related to Materials Management (MM)

  Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization within the Materials Management (MM) domain, utilizing SAP capabilities and best practices.

  Work with customers to design and configure SAP solutions, particularly in Materials Management, to streamline processes, improve inventory accuracy, and enhance overall logistics efficiency.

  Perform testing, and documentation to support process improvements and business requirements.

  Assist teams in troubleshooting and resolution of SAP-related issues

  Collaborate with other SAP consultants and vendors when necessary, ensuring seamless integration and performance of SAP modules.

  Maintain databases of logistics information.

  Interpret data on logistics elements, such as availability, maintainability, reliability, supply chain management, strategic sourcing or distribution, supplier management, or transportation.

  Provide ongoing analyses in area such as transportation costs, parts procurement, backorders or deliver processes.

  Prepare reports on logistics performance measures.

  Basic Qualifications:

  Experience with large scale agile approaches such as SAFe

  At least 3 years experience as a SAP Business Analyst

  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  Demonstrated ability to communicate well, understand business objectives and translate them into technology solutions

  Bachelors degree

  At least 5 years of commercial and/or military supply chain experience in production planning and execution, transportation, warehousing and distribution, materials management and accounting

  Experience in the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module to include Pre-Sales, Sales and Post-Sales activities

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Relevant certifications in SAP

  SAFe certifications such as SAFe Agilist, SAFe for teams, etc."

  Clearance Requirements:

  Must be a U.S. Citizen; Can obtain a Public Trust clearance; and will be subject to a Tier 3 Investigation for DoD Common Access Card (CAC) eligibility only. Candidates who have recently completed T3 investigations are a plus.

  Physical Requirements:

  The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.

  For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
