HID’s Identification Technologies Business Unit (IDT)
This position will be a part of the Healthcare IoT services team, reporting to the Vice President, Healthcare Sales, RTLS. This role will focus on new business and existing enterprise accounts with RTLS solutions.
As our Sales Director, you’ll support HID’s success by:
• Developing and selling HID Healthcare RTLS solutions to prospective client companies through multiple resources – including cold calling, client visits, referrals, social media, etc.
• Cultivating and building relationships with clients and partners.
• Developing high-level contacts within target organizations. Identifies and cultivates relationships with key, influential executives.
• Developing and presenting proposals demonstrating the benefits of our RTLS solutions, tailored to targeted companies’ unique characteristics and requirements.
• Exhibiting persistence and creativity in overcoming all prospective objections; negotiating and closing new business opportunities to meet established sales quotas and revenue objectives.
• Understanding and communicating unique strengths associated with HID Global’s experience, expertise, and proprietary technology.
• Knowledgeable of competitive landscape, including relevant competitors’ positioning and models, along with capabilities, strengths, and weaknesses
• Generating and maintaining an updated and accurate forecast in Salesforce throughout the full sales cycle.
• Identifying and attending networking opportunities to further expand sales pipelines.
• Continuing engagement after closing to facilitate transition to account management and implementation teams.
• Working collaboratively with account management to grow existing accounts.

Your Experience and Education include:
• Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University, engineering degree strongly preferred. Candidates with equivalent education plus relevant job experience may also be considered.
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent education required.
• 7 plus years of experience and a proven track record of new business development within the Healthcare technology industry and meeting or exceeding growth targets highly preferred.
• Up to 25% overnight travel in North America required.
• Ability to travel to Canada upon hire. Training and knowledge transfer will take place in Vancouver, Canada. Therefore, employee must possess or be able to acquire a valid passport upon hire.
• Advanced in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM software highly preferred.

The wage range for this role considers a broad scope of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At HID, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The base salary in the United States is $118,000.00 to $130,000.00. The OTE is up to $216,667.00.
