Job Description

　　An employer is looking for a remote Sr. Electrical Engineer working PST hours supporting a solid waste group within an environmental engineering company. The team works with all renewables including Biogas, landfill gas, air quality, landfill engineering, waste diversion and leachate management. The Sr. EE will be customer facing and oversee cradle to grave engineering including: preliminary design and third-party design review of electrical plans, specs, and calculations, interconnection services, and technical due diligence of new construction and repowering. They will have a specific focus on the electrical design aspects of projects serving the renewables industry.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　Active Electrical PE license CA

　　Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant STEM degree

　　10+ years of Electrical Engineering experience (EE design focus)

　　Experience in design of EE systems in a team environment for electrical distribution systems including: selection of equipment (transformers, metal clad switchgear), materials, and the preparation/ assembling of calculations and specs - 5+ years of experience in design, construction, interconnection, and repowering of utility scale renewable energy projects

　　Experience handling day to day team lead responsibilities/ growing a team/business null
