　　Operating Room is a 12 bed highly skilled unit caring for patients who areconsidered higher acuity and need a wide variety of surgical specialty needsfor the community of Denver, the State of Colorado and surrounding states.The OR provides around the clock staffing 24/7, helping keep minimal callwhile still providing exceptional care. Nurses and certified surgicaltechnicians (CST) are a critical part of the surgical care team,providing compassionate and skilled patient care in general, specialty andtrauma surgeries, including bariatric, ear, nose and throat (ENT),spine and neurosurgery, Genitourinary and Gynecology (GU/GYN)GU/GYN, plastics and hand, gender reassignment, pediatric, oralmaxillofacial, ophthalmology, orthopedics, oncology, urology andvascular surge

　　Job Summary

　　Under general supervision, adheres to the American Nurses Association(ANA) standards of professional nursing and performance, and the ANACode of Ethics to provide care to all healthcare consumers. Applies criticalthinking, evidence-based practices and competence to collaborate with thehealth care team to promote excellence in healthcare consumer safety andquality outcomes.
