Position Summary

As a RD Project Manager, you will manage medium-sized RD projects with high business impact, aligning with Nestlé Continuous Excellence and Nestlé Health and Wellness initiatives, as well as collaborate with other functions to achieve project objectives.

A Day in the Life of a RD Project Manager

Deliver product(s)/process(es)/system(s)/solution(s) with defined quality, time, and cost parameters.

Consider NHW and CSV strategies for future commercial success.

Proactively communicate and control scope changes with stakeholders.

Ensure adequate resources and manage project budget.

Manage the project team effectively.

Facilitate collaboration within the project team.

Network with relevant RD Units, business partners, and external partners.

Engage stakeholders and provide recommendations for decision-making.

What will make you successful

Minimum 7-10 years of RD experience, including at least 1 year in Operation and/or Corporate Functions.

Minimum 3 years of project management experience.

Experience in the Infant Nutrition Category would be a strong advantage.

Demonstrated leadership skills within cross-functional teams.

Experience in a matrix-like structure within a functionally structured environment.

Proven problem-solving abilities.

Strong communication skills, including presenting confidently to steering committees.

Familiarity with the entire innovation process and requirements, from ideation to launch.

Experience in the briefing and project budgeting process.

At Nestlé Research and Development in Konolfingen near Bern / Switzerland, we develop for Nestlé worldwide, new products, processes and packaging concepts for a broad range of products of our Nutrition, Dairy, Health Science and Coffee businesses.
