job summary:
Our client north of Boston is looking to add a Quality Assurance Specialist for a temporary opportunity (6-8 weeks). Candidates will need to have at least their highschool diploma with at least 3 years of relevant working experience. responsibilities:
Generate, review, and manage quality records to support the Quality System. This includes tasks such as handling change orders, maintaining device history records, compiling non-conformance reports, implementing corrective and preventative actions, conducting internal audits, managing supplier corrective action requests, and overseeing training records.
Administer and uphold document control functions within the Arena QMS.
Carry out lot release processes and upkeep all Device History Record (DHR) records.
Evaluate and complete inspection reports and records, ensuring accurate data entry into various electronic systems.
Conduct reviews of sterilization batch records.
Examine and monitor acceptance records and failure trends.
Support supplier quality activities, including supplier evaluation, qualification, audits, and management.
Assist the Quality Manager during notified body and regulatory authority audits and inspections.
Provide support for internal audits as needed.
Operate based on specifications, work plans, procedures, and general instructions from Quality Management.
Adhere to standard operating procedures, encompassing quality standards, material handling, and record-keeping.
Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).
Promptly inform Quality or Operations Leadership of any discrepancies to uphold quality standards and operational safety.
Perform any other duties as required.
