About Project Engineer - Mechanical

  48874BRReq No.:48874BRJob Description and Qualifications:

  The Jazan IGCC is the world’s largest IGCC and ASU facility producing 2100 MMSCFD syngas, 18,000 MT/Day Oxygen and 4 Gigawatts of power. Facilities and assets include residue gasification, acid gas clean up (Rectisol), soot ash recovery, Sulphur recovery (Claus & Scot), combined cycle power plants, materials handling systems, hydrogen recovery, air separation, water utilities systems and wastewater treatment facilities.

  Requirements of the Role:

  Experience in Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) of Power Projects, Industrial Gases or Petrochemical projects.

  Strong organizational, communication and facilitation skills.

  Thorough understanding of P&I of Diagram, Piping Isometric Drawings, Plot plan, Equipment Layout and General Arrangement Drawings, Equipment Fabrication / shop drawings.

  Have experience and thorough knowledge of codes such as ANSI B31.3, 31.4 and 31.8, ASME section I, and other piping system installation related codes and standards.

  Excellent written communication skills in English Language

  Responsibilities:

  Provide engineering support to project development and project management activities (including scope, budget, schedule, execution strategies, risk plans, cost collection / reporting, etc.) for the execution of all projects and turnaround activities.

  Work follow up with the contractors to complete the project within the time frame.

  Coordinate with the client to get the required work permits to execute the Project and provide support to the Contractor

  Manage and coordinate multidiscipline engineering activities to ensure projects are executed in a safe, efficient, cost effective and timely manner.

  Follow up and get approval from all stake holders on the Engineering package.

  Develop SOW and get right field execution contractor.

  Cooperate and communicate effectively with the project manager and other stakeholders to provide assistance and technical support.

  Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.

  PART 2: Candidate Requirements

  Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities Work Experience:

  8 years relevant professional experience.

  Saudi Aramco experience preferred.

  Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  Knowledge of industry codes and standards applicable to Oil and Gas and Refining Industries (API, ISA, NEC / IEC, NFPA, ASME, etc.) and preferably also Saudi Aramco standards and working practices.

  Desired Knowledge & Experience:

  Key Skills:

  MS Office

  Primaveera / any other Project Management software

  Education & Certifications:

  Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering

  Preferred to have PMP Certification/ any other Project Management certification
