A part of Trust and Safety Product, Integrity & Authenticity (I&A) is a small-but-mighty global team bringing together expertise of product managers and program managers into one group. The mission of Integrity & Authenticity is to defend TikTok and TikTok users from issues of misinformation, disinformation and deceptive behavior. We are looking for an experienced program manager to help expand our team's work delivering this mission as part of regional team, based in Singapore and supporting APAC.
Responsibilities
What will I be doing?
1. Work across Product, Policy and Program to ensure TikTok is free from misinformation and deceptive behavior by developing and socializing a deep understanding of how Integrity and Authenticity issues manifest on-platform.
2. Stay informed of and immediately socializing emerging APAC threats, trends and escalations. Work cross-functionally, building synergy and influence with multiple departments within Trust and Safety, Public Policy, Communications, Core Product and other teams, globally.
3. Serve as a liaison to key local XFNs and partner closely with internal stakeholders around APAC issues, including Legal, Government Relations, Comms, Operations, Product, and Policy. Coordinate between product managers, operations teams, and policy specialists to get things done.
4. Directly manage APAC fact checking program and administer elections integrity governance across APAC in partnership with related teams.
5. Track and prioritise compliance and legislative efforts in the Integrity space with Policy and Legal , feeding into global product roadmaps. Advocate for and support media literacy campaigns and product activation.
Qualifications
What should I bring with me?
1. Bachelors degree
2. Minimum 3+ years of experience in program management with a deep understanding of cultural, political and linguistic nuances between the markets of Asia-Pacific (APAC).
3. Comfort with using data to conduct analysis to diagnose health of specific parts of product ecosystems.
4. You have a proven track record of pushing ambitious products, and/or organisational or process changes through to completion in a matrixed and multicultural environment.
5. Previous Trust & Safety experience at large internet or media platforms. Previous track record specifically within in Elections Integrity and misinformation space is valued.
6. Flexibility working across time zone with teammates in EU and US
7. Global vision and empathy, passion, a drive to achieve, humility facing the depth of unknown.
