SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Program Manager at Heroux Devtek must have the ability to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives using their skills in project coordination and delegation. As well, this person is looked at as a leader for nurturing program success from inception to completion.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES
Manage large, complex program initiatives involving cross-functional teamsImplement strategies, oversee collaboration, and define success metricsManagement of cost, schedule, and technical performance the programAnalyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks and deliver presentations to customers and executive managementParticipate in the negotiation of contracts, contract changes, and scheduling milestonesCultivate customer relationships to develop further opportunitiesBASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent and a minimum of five years of relevant experienceExceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizationExperience in leading the performance of tasks on scheduleExperience as a team lead, account manager, or program managerExcellent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Ability to travel 10-20% of the timePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in Program or Project Management in a Manufacturing environmentDirect work experience with Aerospace OEM's such as Boeing, Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, Northrop GrummanPMP CertificationDemonstrated experience with developing bids and subsequent contract launchesExperience working in an environment with competing priorities and immediate turnaround timesSKILLS
